August 3 - TD Beach to Beacon 10K Race

Race Starts at 8:00 AM

The Course begins on Route 77 near Crescent Beach and ends at Portland Head Lighthouse, the most photographed Lighthouse in America. This race has become so popular that runners come from all over the World to participate. There is even a kids race. The TD Beach to Beacon is a great way togged your family out and about for a beautiful day of inspiring athleticism. August 4 - Portland water Lantern Festival 2019

4:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Deering Oaks Park

Park Avenue, Portland

This event is meant for everyone to make a wish on a water lantern. Come to Deering Oaks Park for food trucks, live music, and set a water lantern adrift with a wish while you are there. August 7 - 11 - Cirque du Soleil Crystal

August 11 - South Portland's Art in the Park Show & Sale

August 12 - Be Well Rooftop Rejuvenation at Bayside Bowl in Portland

Begins at 9:00 AM

Visit the rooftop deck at Bayside Bowl for a one-hour yoga class with Be Well owner and instructor, Kat Cynewski. The morning will include pre-fitness complimentary massages, a braid bar, yoga with energetic music, and lots of giveaways from event sponsors. Don’t forget to bring your own mat. August 18 - Craft Brew Races in Portland

Arrive at 10:00 AM

Payson Park, Portland

This event is perfect for the casual athlete who loves beer. Runners of the 5k race, walkers, and bystanders welcome at the Craft Brew Races, which will take participants on a course around Back Cove. October 6 - The Maine Marathon

11:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Baxter Boulevard, Portland

Participate in the full marathon, half marathon, or relay race. This full day of running falls right on the beginning of autumn offering cooler temperatures for a full day of running. August 5 - Paddle Battle at Nonantum Resort in Kennebunkport

The Paddle Battle is The Nonantum Resort’s annual race. Kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddle boards, surfboards and any non-motorized vessels race down the Kennebunk River. This awesome day out on the water is family friendly. This year there are two added features to this event, the Crazy Costume and Crazy Craft competitions. Enjoy live music and family activities on the resort’s back lawn. Report to the registration table between 3PM and 4PM and you’ll find out where to drop in.
